Today only Amazon.com are selling The Sims Carnival BumperBlast for the PC, for $4.99, reduced from $9.99 with free shipping if you add another $20.01 to your cart.

Not to be confused with the tetris style The Sims Carnival, BumperBlast looks like pinball at first glance, but instead involves you shooting a ball from bumper to bumper, bouncing off walls. As much as I hate the game for throwing the irrelevant Sims name on the title, since it just uses sims sounds and faces on the bumpers, it is as addictive as most of these other tiny games that you wish you could put down. Try out a free trial on shockwave.com, an hour of that should get your fill.

Today only Amazon.com are selling The Sims Carnival SnapCity for the PC, for $4.99, reduced from $19.99 with free shipping if you add another $20.01 to your cart.

EA are the masters of deception, The Sims Carnival has nothing to do with The Sims or carnivals, instead it’s a lot more like playing Sim City buy instead of being able to pick the buildings you want to place, the zones fall down as tetris blocks. It’s as crazy as it sounds, and about as good you you’d expect.

Today only Amazon.com are selling The Orange Box for the PC, for $34.99, reduced from $49.99 with free shipping.

From my best of 08 rundown:
If there was an award for sheer value then this Orange Box would get my vote every time, the entire HalfLife 2 storyline up to now, Team Fortress 2 and Portal, each would do well individually but when their powers combine they form something better than Captain Planet could ever hope to be. Portal has been winning awards left and right for it’s originality, and rightly so, as a first person puzzle game, it’s simply mind-blowing! Team Fortress 2 is by far the most fun I’ve had in multiplayer in years, I don’t tend to play well with others but Team Fortress’ depth and charm are irresistible.

Today only Amazon.com are selling Tabula Rasa for the PC at $9.99, reduced from $39.99 with free shipping if you add another $15.01 to your order.

Tabula Rasa has already been called a failure by many, but some of its unique mechanics are quite interesting. Really at $10 you can’t go far wrong since your first month should be free.

Today only Amazon.com are selling The Witcher for the PC at $32.99, reduced from $49.99 with free shipping.

The Witcher is very highly rated, which is nice to see through this PC drought. Although I had some trouble getting into the game, I need to spend more time with it.

Today only Amazon.com are selling Pirates of the Burning Sea for the PC at $29.99, reduced from $49.99 with free shipping.

A fresh face in MMORPG land, $20 off is a great deal, but don’t forget that $15 a month upkeep.

Today only Amazon.com are selling Worldwide Soccer Manager 2008 for the PC at $17.99, reduced from $29.99 with free shipping if you add another $7.01 to your order.

Proably the best Soccer manager game available, a great deal if you like to pay on the other side of the pitch
