Today only Amazon.com are selling Sega Bass Fishing for the Nintendo Wii at $19.99, reduced from $29.99 with free shipping if you add another $5.01 to your order.

Exactly what you’d expect from a game in the genre of ‘arcade fishing’ it’s either a great thing or a bad thing depending on your taste. For those of you on the fence about something like this, you may be better off avoiding

Today only Amazon.com are selling Devil May Cry 4 Collector’s Edition for the Xbox 360 for $39.99, reduced from $59.95 with free shipping.

A great game, no where near as tough as some of the previous versions and is a lot of fun if you want to veg out to some fantastic video sequences and fast paced battles.

This collectors edition apparently includes “Volume 1 of “Devil May Cry: The Animated Series” on DVD with four complete episodes of the anime, a unique Steelbook metal case, a bonus DVD “Making of Devil May Cry 4,” music from the soundtrack, a digital artbook, and PC content (screen savers, wallpapers, and icons)”

Today only Amazon.com are selling Bleach: The Blade of Fate for the DS at $18.99, reduced from $29.99 with free shipping if you add another $6.01 to your cart.

Perhaps the best fighting game for the DS, not that the competition is too heavy when you’re competing againstĀ  Ultimate MK, which really needs Internet play, and the rather decent, but not great, Custom Robo Arena. I’m sure fans of the Bleach comic or the Street Fighter style will get an extra mile of gameplay from this.

Today only Amazon.com are selling Eye of Judgment for the PS3 at $42.99, reduced from $69.99 with free shipping.

Nearly $30 off a full working Eye of Judgement setup, a great deal for all you card battlers out there, just done feed it any Pokemon cars and you’ll do fine.

Today only Amazon.com are selling The Sims Carnival BumperBlast for the PC, for $4.99, reduced from $9.99 with free shipping if you add another $20.01 to your cart.

Not to be confused with the tetris style The Sims Carnival, BumperBlast looks like pinball at first glance, but instead involves you shooting a ball from bumper to bumper, bouncing off walls. As much as I hate the game for throwing the irrelevant Sims name on the title, since it just uses sims sounds and faces on the bumpers, it is as addictive as most of these other tiny games that you wish you could put down. Try out a free trial on shockwave.com, an hour of that should get your fill.

Today only Amazon.com are selling A PlayStation 3 HDMI Cable for the PS3 at $19.99, reduced from $29.99 with free shipping if you add another $5.01 to your order.

Although a pretty good price for a HDMI cable, I don’t see any reason not to just buy one of these

But then, I’m no HDMI expert

Today only Amazon.com are selling Wii Messenger Bag for the Nintendo Wii at $19.99, reduced from $29.99 with free shipping if you add another $5.01 to your order.

Just $5 cheaper than buying from most places, but really the bag doesn’t seem to be large enough to carry your Wii if want to put more than a single controller pair with it.

Today only Amazon.com are selling Trauma Center: New Blood for the Nintendo Wii at $32.99, reduced from $49.99 with free shipping.

The Trauma center games are quite a unique series, without any competition in the arcade surgery genre. Each game has it’s own linear story line with leads into some very hard surgery that almost feels like a structured minigame, with duties such as; pull out the glass, bandage the wound, make an incision, etc. The added bonus for New Blood is the multi-player co-op, so have your friend put on a nurses outfit and get to the surgery room.

Today only Amazon.com are selling Chicken Hunter for the DS at $11.99, reduced from $19.99 with free shipping if you add another $13.01 to your cart.

Jack Davis at IGN sums this game up nicely.

Chicken Hunter isn’t a game. It’s five game demos that Mumbo Jumbo is trying to get suckers to pay for. Playing through every single game takes approximately 15 minutes (at most) and then there is nothing to do. No multiplayer. No hard mode. Nothing. There’s just so little content here, which makes the overall lack of quality even more insulting. If the developers were going to make a game with barely any content, they could have at least made it good content.

Over the last few months there has been lots of press about Electronic Arts hostile bid for Rockstar Studios. I sincerely hope that Rockstar Studios does not get sucked up into the giant dark abyss that is Electronic Arts.

One simple thing Rockstar Studios could do to fend off a hostile take over is begin working on a Massively Multiplayer Online version of it mega hit Grand Theft Auto. (more…)
