PS3 Controller Problems?

Hi,
About a year ago a bought a new PS3 controller. Recently it has started to go wrong. When i play a game eg. Call of Duty 4 etc. it allways seems to want to turn to the left, like something was wrong with the analogue sticks.
So, today i decided to open it up - have a look and clean it - so i did. All went well so i put it back together, nothing missing, not dirty. Hmmm i thought.
Tried again turned on the Ps3 all buttons work but when i play a game again IT STILL TURNS LEFT cannot aim, keep dying....getting to that point where you want to chuck it across the room.
I've realised that everytime i play with it, it gets worse.

Take your ps3 back to the shop in wich you brought it and swap it for a new one.
