On ps3 is it possible to stop the wireless Controllers switching on the system?

I want to make it so that the Ps3 can only be turned on via the 'on' button on the console itself. I have checked right through the settings menu and can't find anything to help with this. My kids have wandering hands and I often leave a controller lying around then get in from work to find the Ps3 has been on for hours.

I can't see anything either, but there is an option in 'settings' > 'power save settings' to set the system to turn off after a set period of inactivity ( eg 1 hour), which might help ?
