Use my Xbox 360 Controller rumble on my computer?

I recently decided to buy an xbox 360 controller so I can play games on my XP based computer and I would like to know if I could use the rumble feature. I'm buying the xbox 360 controller NOT the computer controller. I know I have to download some drivers but I want to know if they use the rumble and if the XBOX controller works with them.
I already downloaded the drivers in advance so I'm ready when I buy it but I want to know if I need other drivers to use the rumble or will the ones I got from Microsoft work.
The controller is NOT wireless it is WIRED.
I got it and the rumble works on all my games that were made by Microsoft that can use a controller. but I really wanted to use it with my Nintendo 64 Emulator its Project 64

The rumble feature can work with Windows, but it's up to the game whether it supports that Controller For rumble or not. What games are you trying to use that controller with?
